Revving Up a Dealer Website
While managing the certified Dealer Digital Program for a leading motorcycle manufacturer, Shift helped one of the brand’s local retailers turn their website into a more effective lead development tool.
The dealer’s digital strategy was originally supported by a vendor outside the approved Dealer Digital Program. While their website provided basic contact and location information, it lacked the content and functionality it would need to enhance and support sales.
Working closely with a brand-certified website vendor, Shift helped the dealer launch a new website that would improve performance as well as alignment with the overall brand requirements. The new site includes more robust content, such as current inventory and special information, helping to engage customers and move them further along the sales funnel. We also helped implement customer relationship management tools, allowing the dealer to track and follow up on leads that the website would now generate.
Within 24 hours of launching the new site, the dealer received numerous new leads for new and used motorcycles, resulting in one sale, generating a 16% increase in website conversion.
