10 Reasons Why We Heart Shift

Our summer 2015 interns share their top 10 reasons to love Shift.

After only a short time working at Shift Digital, it is easy to see that this office runs unique to most companies. While it was hard to narrow it down, here are the top ten reasons why we love Shift Digital.

1. Everyone is very welcoming and willing to help you out.
2. An entrepreneurial mindset is encouraged.
3. You have unlimited opportunities to move to different areas of the company. Shift Digital often promotes from within and encourages you to explore your interests to find the right area within the company for you. This might even mean moving to Italy!
4. Shift Digital has created a fun and energetic company culture.
5. Managers are always looking for feedback and ways to improve the company.
6. Out-of-office events help you get to know employees from other departments. The events are also a lot of fun!
7. There is nothing wrong with asking questions. There is a lot to take in at Shift Digital, so ask questions sooner rather than later.
8. The office encourages collaboration among team members. We work in an open environment where we are able to setup our laptops in the kitchen, common area, or conference rooms for a change of scenery away from our desks.
9. There are many opportunities for learning through various training sessions. Whether you are interested in learning more about Microsoft Excel or Adobe Photoshop, lessons are often available.
10. There is always free food and snacks in the office kitchen!

Above all, Shift not only provided a great internship experience, but it set the bar high for what to expect in terms of company culture and office atmosphere. Thank you to everyone at Shift for an amazing summer!
